After two years’ work, the Novotel Abidjan recently added the final touches to its renovation with its interior decor and outside facade designed respectively by the Malherbe design agency and the architect Alain Jaouen. This was a major project launched against the backdrop of the crisis experienced in Ivory Coast in 2010-2011. Following these events, the group initiated a series of major investments in Africa. Design & Product Solution teams thus organized a design contest in 2013 for the Novotel Abidjan renovation.
Located on the edge of Ebrié Lagoon in the very heart of Abidjan’s business district, the hotel has 258 Next bedrooms including 12 superb suites, but also an N’Lounge Bar & Restaurant, a sports room and an outdoor swimming pool. As the icing on the cake, business travellers can now benefit from 7 state-of-the-art conference rooms.
You’ll find two of the key attractions of the Novotel Abidjan – whose contemporary style is enhanced by Ivorian touches – delightfully embedded within the lobby: a central bar, strategically positioned, and an interior garden, constituting the hotel’s “green lung”.
